Riverwalk is just a few minutes walk. Whatever cuisine you are in the mood for is a short walk. The valet parking is very convenient, although it took me a while to figure out how to get to it because the gps takes you to a section that is shut down due to now maintenance work on the Alamo. I love, love, love The Menger Hotel. "

"The room was nice and the access to the river walk was a plus but the parking is horrible. There's only valet available for $55 per day. No garage connected to the hotel. You are welcomed to park elsewhere but will have to walk back and forth to your car and pay extra fees. The good thing about valet is you can leave and come back at the flat rate of $55 per night. "

"Newly renovated property with good design. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are good. Only problem we had was the air conditioning had a hard time keeping up with the texas summer heat. Would recommend. "
