“So much to say: first off there was no indication from Expedia that this hotel was located on the 4th floor of a hospital! You have to pay for parking per hour. Our room had only 3 bath towels (we had a family of 5, with room accommodating up to 6 people). When the water wouldn’t get cold to fill our water bottles we went to the fountain and it was out of service. We went to the ice machine and it wasn’t working. “I waited like four hours to get into this property. I want a refund couldn’t stay cause there was bugs. Couldn’t even turn the TV on had to book another room. after like three hours, they gave me a code for a door that needed it key. It was ridiculous. Could not use credit cards in the area. Had to go to an ATM. I’m trying to figure out if I was double charged right now.”

“Armas hotel was a great place to stay before and after our cruise. It’s located in a great spot in old San Juan making the area 100% walkable. Great restaurants, fun open air bars lots of sites to see. I would definitely stay there again.”

“The staff was very cordial. I had to move a night table to retrieve a hair clip and I can tell that no one has cleaned the area behind the night stand for a while and there was small roach. Shower curtain needs to be replace immediately. The plastic receptacle to connect the blow dryer is broken. The room needs a fresh coat of paint; there are scuff marks on the walls. “A "quaint" old hotel in Old San Juan, kept up with very well. If you want hundreds of souvenir shops to walk in and out of it's very convenient. Restaurants and bars seemed to be harder to find. No real amenities at the hotel, did not see anyone using the hot baths or jacuzzi. Coffee in the lobby near the front door in the morning, had to get a hair dryer from the front desk. It served it's purpose for the overnight stay.”
