It’s a good option if you mainly need a place to sleep rather than relax. The breakfast is decent, offering a satisfactory selection. The staff are generally polite, though not very flexible. For example, I was initially given an incorrect breakfast ticket (each ticket is date-specific), and I had to return to my room to retrieve the correct one before being allowed entry. The location is excellent—very close to shopping areas in Kyoto, which makes it highly convenient for exploring the city. Overall, it may not be the best choice for families due to the room size, but it works well for short stays or travelers focused on being out and about."

"Very good, clean and accessible to the trains. Across from the Umejoki train station - one stop from Kyoto station. familymart attached to hotel. Starbucks around the corner. Public bath is nice too. Only wish they had a small gym with dumbbells. Otherwise great!!"
