"The whole stay was excellent. The room and the property were very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were very accommodating. The only thing we didn't like was during our stay there weren't enough washing machines to use. There were only two and the other one was not working."

"Great location for day trips. Having a FamilyMart in the building was extremely convenient too. Good self-service laundry facilities and access to a microwave too. My only feedback would be to offer an eco-clean option for the rooms. We just wanted the bin emptied and to get the free bottles of water, but to get we had to ask for the full room clean. New towels, pyjamas, toilet roll, etc, which wasn’t necessary."

"Hotel Granvia Kyoto is a very nice, clean, and exceptionally well-positioned hotel. The location is excellent, with plenty of food, entertainment, and shopping nearby. The amenities felt somewhat lacking from a Western perspective. Having to pay an additional fee to use the gym, for example, seems unusual compared with typical U.S. hotel standards. The biggest disappointment was the condition of the corridors, which were not particularly clean and had a noticeable cigarette smell. That detracted from an otherwise very pleasant stay. Admittedly, some of these impressions may reflect differences between Japanese and U.S. hotel standards. Staff was excellent and very accomodating"
