"AVOID!!! On arrival after flying all day we arrived at 4:00 pm which is room check in time. We noticed the check in line was moving very slowly and there were a lot of people standing with their luggage in the lobby. Once we got to the front of the line we were also notified like the other customers that our room was not ready. They suggested we set in the lobby and wait for a little while and they would call us when the room was good. We sat for an hour and a half before we approached the check in counter for a second time to be told once again our room was not ready. I have never left a bad review on any service that we have used, but I think other travelers should be weary of staying at this property. You are paying 4 star prices and most definitely not getting anywhere near 4 star service. Go elsewhere. We also were charged a resort fee that was not clearly discussed with us. We still did not get into our room until 7pm. We will not suggest this hotel to anyone going forward. "

"We recently stayed at The Reef at Atlantis while I was travelling for work, and it worked well for both business and family. From a family perspective, it was a great choice. The kids absolutely loved the water park, and the aquarium is genuinely spectacular — there was always something to explore. They also really enjoyed the kids’ club, which gave them some independence and variety during the stay. My husband made the most of the casino, so there was truly something for everyone. The room itself was a highlight. Having a full kitchen gave us much-needed flexibility, especially when travelling with children, and made the stay far more comfortable and convenient. From a work standpoint, the location was very practical. It was easy to get to and from meetings, which made balancing work and family time much smoother. The main area for improvement would be the food. The options felt somewhat limited, and the overall quality could be better given the standard of the resort. Overall, it’s a very good option if you’re looking to combine work and family travel, with plenty to keep everyone entertained, but with some room to improve on dining."
