"The staff was amazing! Our room was always cared for and the mini bar was full. If there was a question or problem it was solved immediately by using the Riu app. I was a bit disappointed by the noise while on the balcony from machines running at ground level to keep everything going. It the ocean view was perfect! The food, restaurants and pool were great. It is not the largest Riu we have been at, but we had a lovely time. "

"This has to be the worst Marriott property…. The whole building is outdated. No hot water! Bathroom was dirty, door to bathroom would not close. Asked for room service in the morning to have a coffee and they said there was none. No mini fridge. We lost water halfway thru our stay. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. "

"The room was spacious and clean. The view wasn’t ideal since it was on the 1st floor on the far side but still was able to see some ocean view. Staff very friendly and attentive. Great amenities like the use on water bike and kayak. Overall I had a great stay."

"This is a great property in an amazing location! Many restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The staff were very friendly. Our housekeeper, Angelique, was the best! She made us a different towel animal each day with a fun sweet note! We loved having a Starbucks inside the hotel! It's on level 2 which is conveniently on the way out to the beach. The lobby has ice water with fresh fruit in it daily. The entire hotel was very clean and they always had clean towels ready at the beach. "
