"Fix the washroom door in the dorms"

"The stay was very disappointing. The room felt damp and dirty from the moment we arrived. The shower door didn’t close properly due to crooked glass, which is actually dangerous — if you don’t realize how to handle it, it could easily break and cause injury. The bathroom doors were swollen and damaged from moisture. We specifically paid for an ocean view room, but instead got a side balcony with just a tiny glimpse of the ocean. What we mostly saw was the trash area and laundry facilities — definitely not what we expected or paid for. Overall, not worth the money and far from the advertised experience."

"Badly maintained property. The room was dirty on check-in and it took multiple housekeeping visits to vacuum the floor, clean the toilet and shower area. Pieces of paper on the carpet. Stains in the toilet and shower area. Urine spots on the toilet seat. I tried changing rooms and the alternative rooms were no good either. Exterior was being painted and there were no signs. I saw a guest place a handbag against the wall and the paint stuck on it, damaging the bag permanently. The icing on the cake? Active construction in progress and there was loud drilling and hammering after 9am forcing me to call front desk to get them to pause until I step outside. Never again. No sir."

"Incredibly disappointed about our stay. From the duct taped air conditioning unit, to the hair on the sink and offensive smell through out the building there was constant disappointment. Staff walked in to my room twice with out knocking. We were repeatedly lied to about our 2nd room being ready. The shower had mold around the edges. How this is rated so highly is shocking! My pros- the bed was incredibly comfortable and they gifted a bottle of prosecco upon arrival. If you are looking for a youth hostel, this is your place."

"Resort was preparing for a large company buyout of entire resort on the weekend after my stay. However my stay was impacted by large equipment, putting up signage, moving furniture and bringing new furniture and setups with tons of workers crawling around, pools shutdown 2 days of my stay-- the bottom pool had no seats as they were setting up a stage for this event. This was my worst stay ever. Normally, I hav a great time however this stay I felt like an unwanted guest. My intentions were to relax at resort but ended up making plans to do things outside of resort. My recommendation would be to just shutdown for 2-3 days and pass the cost on to the Company buying out the resort instead of making your guests suffer & pay for those prep days! 😖"
