“The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. Furniture in the room was appropriate for the period and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve outside issues such as Parking in town which is not...

“The house is well maintained, the staff very friendly, breakfast was fine and centrally located.”

“At the fringes of the town, so it’s quieter. There is no lifts at Lakehouse so please ensure you get the ground floor if you have difficulty climbing stairs, especially with big luggage.”

“Sarah was amazing at multitasking. Superb service. Very spacious rooms. So clean and well maintained. Breakfast included. Dog friendly. Great views.”

“This is the best place that I’ve ever stayed in Europe...staffs were very kindly...breakfast was wonderful... I highly recommend this place is good for family’s traveling...location is very good”

“My wife and I had a fabulous 2 night stay. Our room was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was first class. The bar was a lovely place to relax after a long day walking. We would definitely return for another visit. I have only one observation to feedback, and its minor. The decor in our bathroom was tired and needs looking at. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but paint work and fixtures were beginning to show their age.”
