"Cold showers the entire stay here, in the middle of winter. Unbelievable. It's a known issue as the front desk says you have to let the water run for an astonishing 30 minutes and "maybe" the water will get warmer. It's one thing to have an unexpected issue, but to rent rooms with such a glaring issue in winter hoping no one will complain is pretty unacceptable. Also make sure you know that the included breakfast is at the restaurant and you have to verify with them that's what you're getting,...

"The hotel room with its convenient bar fridge and microwave and kitchen, the decor of the room and the hotel in general, the hotel’s location, the service, and the amazing buffet on a rooftop terrace were excellent for the price. We were very pleasantly surprised! We were within a few block walk of the Plaza des Armas and the park at Cerrado Santa Lucia. I also want to give a shout-out to Miguel at the front desk who was very helpful and booked us a taxi to the airport. "

"The hotel is sharing a building with other services, and the common area need refurbishing.
The mattress is bad and bent, needs replacement. Same for pillows that are not soft, basically below the standard of 4 stars hotel.
There was a kind of fan outside that was too loud during the night. The room is bad sound insulated.
The customer service was very good and friendly."

"This was an amazing location, fabulous room and the staff were the best we’ve had. Breakfast was terrific, and the fitness center and pool was great and too"
"I highly recommend Hotel Magnolia…it is a very special boutique hotel and a new favorite of mine! The style of the hotel is truly unique and beautiful; it maintains much of the architecture of the original mansion built in 1929 and adds a new, innovative, bold, modern design. My room was spacious, elegant and comfortable. The hotel is well located and convenient to many sights and dining options. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, The only small issue was that there was only one receptionist and no concierge in the mornings during the 3 days of my stay, and that did not seem to be enough to adequately handle arrivals, departures, and other assistance needed by guests.
I definitely would like to stay at this hotel again and hope to do so in the future!"
"Great location. Efficient service.
Note: there's no coffee machine in the room and the included breakfast starts at 7:00 ( 7:30 on Sundays). As most trips outside Santiago start before 7:00, you'll probably miss it. This is, obviously, not the hotel fault, but it's something to keep in mind if you can't function in the morning unless properly caffeinated."
"All the staff we met were excellent, but it seems understaffed. The rooftop bar was open but no one was there to serve drinks when we arrived and when we ordered morning coffee from room service it took over an hour. Otherwise, great location and an excellent room. Really comfy bed and great shower. The breakfast was also really good. "
"My husband and I loved this classically elegant hotel. Extremely clean and beautiful rooms with very high quality linens. Great location in the Lastarria neighborhood. Good restaurants nearby.
The highlight was the staff. Martin the concierge arranged two private day trips for us and we loved the guides who showed us Valparaiso and the Casablanca wine region and the Cajon de maipo mountains and the Maipo Valley wine area. Every single member of the Singular staff deserves a shout out. They provide old fashioned Service that is very personal and welcoming. They greet you with a smile and no request is too trivial. I wish I could name all the kind people who made our stay so lovely.
The rooftop restaurant and bar offer a great vantage point to see the city.
Everyone on the staff speaks excellent English and very graciously allowed us to practice our Spanish as well. We can't wait to return!"
