“Delightfully friendly and kind hosts. Very clean place. Simple rooms, with everything you need, and shared washrooms. Nice breakfast. The shuttle to the lift is nice (although also easily walkeable in 10-15 minutes). The onsen bath downstairs is a definite bonus.”

“Good”

“Owner is a sole-proprietor, and she has several buildings where she uses for her hotel. The downstairs of the main hotel is for eating, live music (usually jazz), and for drinks, small bar. She took well care of me, we went together for a few errands, and I picked up a cold virus, so she took me to the pharmacy, and the option of going to the store, also went to the laundromat, as one dryer she has is broken, but for a few hundred yen, the coin laundry dries it in half an hour. Room was clean,...

“It was great experience staying at this place. Right after we went to gala Yuzawa ski came back to the hotel and dipped ourselves into the large Ofuro in the basement. Smoking was not allowed inside or well outside the house so it was the only problem me and my friends faced during the stay but all in all we enjoyed our stay at the place. Place is warm and cozy. Recommend for friends and family or in groups over 5 people. ”
