"I had an issue with the ac making a loud buzzing sound like a shot clock buzzer every 1-2 minutes through my first night. It took 30 minutes for a maintenance worker to enter my hotel room. Look at the unit from 15 feet away and he told me someone will come fix it. Two hours later and two trips to the front desk later, an “on call engineer” came and told me that the fan was on high and they switched it to low and she left. The buzz persisted. I asked for a different room and was told no because they were totally booked. The front desk staff member told me he would credit $90 back to my hold card that 3 days later has not been reflected. We ended up turning off the unit and were uncomfortable in our 75 degree room. Our blinds were broken. Our shower lever that switches to shower from bath did not work and we waited an hour for an engineer to fix that. He was very friendly and genuinely sorry for our inconvenience. The cleaning staff were helpful and kind. The location is nice but not worth sacrificing bare minimum offerings to be comfortable for a stay."
"We booked an upgraded room unfortunately when we arrive, the room was not ready and it was broken. There was a lot of confusion among the staff of what was going on. We ended up waiting for many hours in a small cramped lobby. My wife is incredibly tired. We felt frustrated and angry, and when we had to be put in a room, we were putting in a room with incredibly noisy air conditioner. I was like sitting next to a diesel truck then room also was lower grade, but we stayed in there till our other room is ready. We moved into our right room ready by the television was broken, and I had a flickering light stove would give an epileptic person some sort of seizure the entire experience was lackluster and for the money that we paid it was completely underwhelming would avoid it all costs. Plus location and cleanliness negative everything else."
