"Great location. Our room was huge compared to other hotels we had stayed at in Japan. Great vibes at the rooftop bar upstairs but it does get busy. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful."

"The hotel is in a great location. Easy to trains, food, and shopping arcades. The rooms are very small. It is difficult for 2 people to put away their clothes. The water is always warm. You will have a hard time getting cold water. You may have to ask for help with the tv. Access to Japanese channels were not obvious. There are apps on tv for hulu and youtube, but Japanese hulu is a different account than US. The beds and pillows are bad, so be prepared to sleep on cardboard. Toilet paper also very cheap. But there is a bidet if you can tolerate it. The breakfast buffet is a good price, but you will get sick of the same thing every day. No breakfast meats on it. Adjoining rooms was a good feature if you have kids."

"Visiting Kyoto for the first time, we found the location of Good Nature hotel to be unbeatable. It is close to shopping/dining/train and sightseeing tours. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and lovely. All areas of the hotel kept very clean. We would definitely come back here, and highly recommend this gem of a hotel!"

"i've booked with this hotel twice already. immediately after my first trip i was adamant that if i came back to kyoto again i had to rebook at this same hotel. the hotel is very close to the subway station and has many convenience stores nearby. it was great having laundry available and the service was very cheap as well. the highlight of this hotel is the onsen there are many different baths. I do wish that the women's bath had an ice bath though as the mens bath did. however the onsen was perfect to decompress after a long day of walking. they have tattoo covers available free of charge as well. they also offer free yakult and ice cream during the day and night respectively. the night time free soba in the cafeteria was also great for a late night bite. their morning breakfast buffet was also amazing so much variety, definitely worth it. overall whenever I'm in kyoto this hotel will be my first choice over other accommodations. from all of my travels this hotel is definitely one of the most memorable accommodations i’ve stayed at. highly recommended."

"I had a great stay at Hotel Solaria. The hotel was clean, modern, and conveniently located near public transportation, shops, and restaurants. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. My room was comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The check-in process was smooth, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Hotel Solaria to anyone visiting Japan and would happily stay here again."

"Beautiful hotel. Everything was high quality. I loved all the little perks like local coffee beans with our own coffee grinder in the room, free ice cream and snacks downstairs, motorized blackout blinds, traditional Samue (long-sleeved top and pants) for the onsen. Speaking of the onsen, it was beautifully done, a large pool in black stone with wooden sides, a huge window with plants outside, but also private. The staff is great. Sheets and towels were all high quality. The only downside was the noise from the busy street below. The windows look double pane, but they could not keep out all the noise. Despite that, I slept well and would recommend this place heartily."

"Loved this hotel! So many great things to say about this hotel. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, we were very sad to leave. The staff was very kind and helpful. Loved the small snacks and drinks they had in the afternoon. One night they even had marshmallows for us to roast at the fire. The location was perfect!"
