“The hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.”

“A nice hotel for families. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff were great, friendly and helpful. It's proximity to the caves is great and it's a half hour walk away from Wells. The food in the restaurant was good too.”
“Delicious breakfast - both buffet style and with a few other dishes you can order off a small menu. Room was super clean and the shower was fantastic! Definitely recommend this if you are visiting Cardiff - it’s 5 minutes away from the castle and 5 minutes to the train that can take you down to the bay. Everyone was so nice and it’s a good value for the money. Slight inconvenience- the parking is in a big city garage a few blocks away so getting your luggage to/from is cumbersome. But...

“We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start.
The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful.
We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service.
The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There...
