“Bar was well stocked staff were all nice and pleasant, bed was a bit hard and the pillows not very comfortable ”

“We had a very nice overnight stay at the Crown. Staff were kind & welcoming on arrival, the room was clean and comfortable and well appointed, we had dinner in the restaurant which was really nice, drinks were a big pricey but I guess that's hotel pricing. Breakfast was really good, freshly prepared and very tasty. All in all really good, the only minor negative was the dated bathroom in our room, however the shower was really good, powerful and plenty of hot water so, does that really matter? ”

“Situated in a picture postcard little village, everything about the hotel was top notch, the decor throughout and our room was tasteful and modern, everything was spotless and clean. The food was excellent, I had the fish platter which I would highly recommend. Staff were attentive and polite, it's a five stars from me”

“Beautiful country hotel, small and personal service, delightful comfortable en-suite rooms, warm inviting pool - often to ourselves, incredible top class gourmet food - formal dining and bar food served in the warm and cosy bar area or the relaxing lounge. So much choice at breakfast, all delicious, everything you could want. Can’t wait to go back in summer to enjoy the open terrace overlooking the pond. A real joy to stay here.”

“Had such a wonderful stay this weekend with friends! The room was incredibly cozy, clean, and well-maintained, which made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and the service truly stood out. We also loved the restaurant - great atmosphere and delicious, high-quality food. “Yes welcoming for dogs. Had a poolside suite. Only things i would say are the pillows are very hard and the bed linen could be softer. I say this because is expensive to stay. Also had to pay for a cappuccino at breakfast and i think when you pay this money you shouldnt need too”
