“GREAT HISTORIC HOTEL. Very quaint & comfortable.
Highly recommend this hotel for its location, amenities and staff.
Will definitely start here next trip to the Highlands”
“A wonderful overnight stay while in the area for work. Lovely welcome, fantastic meal and a relaxing evening walk around the grounds. All the staff that i met were very friendly and helpful.”
“Very nicely situated accommodation. We stayed in the “Garden Lodge” which was nicely decorated. Staff at the lobby was excellent and very helpful. The staff in the dining area was even to European standards somewhat tardy (e.g. 20
Mins wait for coffee at breakfast, 50 minutes wait between two course meal). The overall experience was very positive. ”
“Everything was great except the service at Dinner. We barely saw our server and had to ask for her after waiting 20+ minutes to order dessert. Everything else about the staff and hotel was great. Very interesting place. ”
“Wonderful building, room v comfortable, anazing views.
The staff are a real highlight - friendly and great at their jobs. Characyeristic of the friendly attitude you find everywhere on the island.
Enjoyed the food, too. Will be back!”
“Pitlochry is a quaint little town, and this hotel is 150 years old. Amazing little property, very clean and uniquely fits the vibe of the town. The staff members are helpful and everything is a short walk away. Highly recommended.”
“We enjoyed staying at the Garrison. The staff were outstanding and breakfast was delicious and free! They had free snacks in the room and in the evening at the bar. I highly recommend. The only neg was the housekeeping put the clean towels they were going to put into the rooms onto the floor outside of the rooms! But did I die? Nope! I dried off on one of the towels and kept on traveling! I would definitely stay here again. Walk to dinner , overlooking the waterfront, superb friendly staff...
“Lovely location, beautiful architecture and building and views outside the hotel. It’s a memorable place for me as it’s where I was proposed to.
Only let down is the lack of / poor internet connection. ”
“Stunning views over the loch and surrounding hills.
A lovely welcome from Ann on reception.
Food and service were excellent.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable (a lighter duvet would have been a bonus as the room was very warm and that was with the heating off and windows open).
If you fancy climbing a Munro, Schiehallion is about 15 minutes from the hotel to the car park.
Can't fault it and would stay again.
Thank you.”
“Perfect location walking distance from train bus and ferry terminals. Staff was very responsive and helpful. Wish we could have opened the windows but we were fine since it was cool at night. We will return!”
