“Great place to stop in the country ”

“This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.”

“Plenty of room to park by the Guest House & as an occupational therapist, I was impressed that there was excellent provision for people with mobility issues in the room. It’s in a beautiful & peaceful area. Highly recommended. Da iawn!”

“My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. It was finished off by a hearty cooked breakfast, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both, you’re great hosts. ”

“What a fantastic weekend stay at The Mill at Glynhir. Our hosts Matt and Helen were so hospitable nothing was too much trouble. Though we were only there for 2 nights we felt like we had known them for years! Their attention to detail was spot on. From the miniature toiletries/dental kits etc Through to the chocolate goodie Jar. The breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be going back.!”

“Tamar is a very friendly, welcoming and helpful host. The accommodation is excellent very clean and comfortable with all needed facilities. The site is lovely with walks, woodland and a lake to explore. It is very quiet. The only things to be heard are the birds singing. The breakfast though continental style is generous. I would highly recommend Henllys.”
