"I did a wrong booking and had to book extra. Support was weak first but then the stuff was very helpful. I got the cancelation done in a professional way…and tata, staying an extra night. It’s all about service and you win customers long term "

"the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were old, but clean and functional. The only caveat was the restaurant - the food was good, and the prices were equivalent to the rest of the Central London restaurants, but they were out of a lot of common things - cabernet sauvignon wine, etc. - and the staff was not especially friendly - but again, this seems to be common at the Central London restaurants we visited. By far the best part of our visit was the hotels location - it was a 3 minute walk to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and Parliament, a n 8 minute walk to St. James part and Buckingham Palace - and it is close to the Strand and Charing Cross shopping/restaurant areas - there is even an excellent Waterstone's bookstore directly across the street - where you can get a great, and inexpensive, latte."

"Excellent hotel stay. Great value for the price. The location is perfect if you want a daily view of Big Ben and the London Eye. The Hop On Hop Off bus stop is a block away. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff extremely friendly. Loved the bowlers worn by the valet crew!"

"Good central city centre location with nearby parking available at extra cost. Friendly staff. Tired room that needs refreshed decorating, cold with noisy heating system- not great for good sleep. Bathroom floor not clean. Breakfast offer disappointing selection & not very good value for money, coffee machine broken."

"I was attending an event which finished late, and I didn't want to travel home alone. So I looked for somewhere close by to stay which didn't break the bank. The Strand Palace Hotel offers single-bed rooms that come with a luxury shower room stocked with Rituals products, large wardrobe, table & chair, a desk and huge TV. Plus free wifi, bottle of water and bar of chocolate... and all for £110. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel room was quiet & comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again. "

"Breakfast was amazing. We stayed in the West Wing and unfortunately we could here the rumble of trains until well after midnight so we didn’t have as good a sleep as we should have had."
