“Large, very clean room. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with great shower. Nice toilet products to use. Plentiful, tea, coffee and biscuits provided as well as a small fridge with bottled water. Attractive restaurant with a good range of menu options. Ate there 2 nights and the food was very good. Some excellent desserts too! Breakfast was also very good and flexible options. “Central location and excellent for walking into the city - parking was a real bonus , very secure and safe. Staff members very personable and professional. “The property is a wonderful grade II listed building with oodles of character. The breakfast room is exquisitely decorated with busts of famous peots in which you can eat a sumptuous cooked full english breakfast. The property is wonderfully peaceful and the beds as beautifully soft and comfortable. If you are looking for a modern sparse hotel then this is not it, and you should look elsewhere. If you like a wonderful property with bags of history to it then you are in luck!”
