"The property was beautiful and the facility was kept clean. Very welcoming! A family feel or bread and breakfast feel at a hotel. They have a fire pit. They light every evening. They pop, popcorn and make cookies for the guests in the evenings. They are very wildlife conscious . They check in on their guests to make sure that housekeeping is up to par. And the hotel staff are very knowledgeable about the area and able to give great suggestions. And a shout out to Sayra, she just made our stay as close to perfect as possible! She is super friendly and always has a great attitude! We will definitely stay there again!"

"They put us on 2nd floor above restaurant on back side near pool. So we heard music over speakers from about 630am till 9-10. Otherwise, it was perfect! Restaurant was good and so was the Gorilla Taco next door. Will definitely put on our list of places to stay/recommend. Especially if you have kids. The pool is very cool."

"This was our second time staying at the Island. It is an extremely clean hotel with the nicest employees. They gave us free vouchers for drinks and a dessert at the restaurants after finding out it was my son’s birthday. The pool and hot tub are great and we were alone in it a few days so that was nice. I have a few complaints about the rooms. The floors make your feet black so that’s kind of yucky. The other complaint is just personal to me. We’ve had rooms overlooking the stores each time. The lights stay on all night so it’s very bright in the room when you’re trying to sleep and in the morning when the sun comes up. I like it to be a cave so that could just be a me issue. My only other complaint is the loading and unloading area. In busy times, there is nowhere to park and unload your luggage or load in your vehicle. Just a heads up. Overall we love this place and will return. "
