“We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff is wonderful, kind, and very helpful for getting around Hakuba! It’s very close to Goryu and several restaurants. They also serve dinner and breakfast there if you don’t want to go out, and the food truck outside is a big plus. It was great to have a quiet accommodation near the slopes. The dry room has a spot to place your ski equipment as well. ”

“Owners are very nice ,the lady knows a bit of English. She made delicious breakfast. Bring your own towel, otherwise extra charge. Walking distance to Hkuba Goryu ski Resort about 5-10 min. My room included private bathroom and shower. ”

“Close access to the ski slopes. Property and room is a little rundown and old compared to as advertised. Hot water was not working but staff accommodated me to another room. Room has poor noise isolation so you can hear your neighbors. Toilet seat lid does not stay up! Friendly and helpful staff nevertheless.”

They kept our baggage before check-in and after check-out, so we could enjoy ski all the days. There are free ski lockers. In 5th floor, there a onsen(hot spring) bath. It has a outside bathtub. “The restaurant option closes at 8pm. Something the staff did not explain upon check in. The bar doesn’t open till 4pm in the afternoon. Again, something the staff did not explain. They don’t have any vending machines with food options. Seriously so no food on site after 8pm and nothing available to eat. They don’t have vending machines with Beer or Liquor options. There were no towels in the shower area. Yes they give you an Onsen towel and small towel in a tote bag but come on. Have...

“The room was well prepared with everything needed. The projector was a fun addition for our evening entertainment. The washing machine is in not in the unit, but in the shared management building. Driving to the location was quite an adventure for us in the heavy snow condition. We were not used to driving in snow, and the roads are narrow and snowy.”

The ski shuttle service the hotel provides is also fantastic. Whenever you want to ski, you simply go down to the ski concierge, let them know you’re heading out, and they’ll have all of your gear ready—clean, dry, and warm.
