“Lovely place to stay nice and quiet and close to all amenities. Bus stop across the rd takes you right into the city center. Friendly helpful staff, would definitely stay again. ”
“Modern renovation, while retaining some original features (e.g. flagstone floor in cafe area). Clean and comfortable. Everything was self service so no staff on site (a bit impersonal but not really an issue). Definitely a good option for fellow solo visitors to the area.”

“Located in a very beautiful location within walking distance of several points of interest, such as The Shambles, York Minster, the City Walls, bars, and restaurants. The breakfast served in the morning is truly exquisite. The room and the hotel in general seemed very clean, in excellent condition despite being an old building, and safe. The attention and friendliness of the front desk and breakfast staff were exceptional!”
