“We loved our 2 rooms here. Beds were super comfortable, amenities were fantastic, food was tasty, we liked the history and decor, & we had great rooms with garden views. It was also nice to say someplace right next to the train station (especially since we brought my senior parents) and have the option of leaving luggage and exploring the city before check in / not taking your luggage all over town. For those driving, the car park / parking lot seem to be large enough to accommodate many...
“Great hotel. Location is prefect from the station and so central for exploring York.
Our room was clean and spacious. Space to chill in room after a day exploring.
Didn't have breakfast at the hotel as really felt £30 per person was far too expensive.

“The hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isn’t too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend.”

“We stayed over for a night on a motorcycle trip. The hotel was perfect for our stay with beautiful views of the Humber from an open terrace at the back of the hotel. The room was nice and quiet with only the rabbits as neighbours. The bed was great too ensuring a good slumber near the Humber!”
“The room was great for our needs, very spacious with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. I was holidaying with my teenage granddaughter and the twin beds gave us plenty of room.
It was about a 10 minute walk to the harbour (anout 30 minutes to walk back, it's a very steep hill! Dont believe google maps that says mostly flat!)
There is a bus stop outside the hotel but we didn't use it. However, on our last evenung we had a taxi and it was £4.50.”
