The Kimberly Hotel

"Very pleasantly surprised. This was our first trip to NY, so our first hotel in NY. We did a red eye flight so we arrived early morning and the Kimberly hotel let us do an early check in! thank you so much!!! I had no idea what uptown, midtown, downtown meant until I got to NY and with that knowledge, this is one hotel I would highly recommend: 1. location: right next to the sub station, green line #6. there is plenty of good quality restaurants nearby so we walked around, did our random selection and everything was good. 2. staff : the most pleasant staff to deal with. They were very polite and accommodating. I wish every hotel had staff like the people here. 3. room : we got one bedroom 2 bed with balcony suite. It was spacious (4 adults), with upgraded bathroom (the whole room had old fashion style of furniture and decor and the bathroom was modern!). very clean and nice. loved that shower head. it even had a small sink and fridge with space for my food too. 4. noise: I read reviews about street noise keeping people awake and yes there is some but close the windows and not much can be heard. 5. bar on the rooftop: must try!!! overall, most like to stay again if I do another NY visit and will highly recommend for my friends."

"Staff was helpful, my room was chilly and they immediately tried calling someone to fix it. Location is 10/10. So convenient. Room was spacious and bathroom had luxury feel. However for almost 500 a night I had no view of any sort my room faced a wall and also no coffee or kettle or anything in the room."
