The room was spacious. The rooms were well supplied with soap, towels, and toiletries. The rooms were well cleaned every day. The negatives are the bed was not comfortable. The mattress was a futon. Also the room had no windows. The shower floor was marble and slippery.

The J-Mex is what the Japanese call a "Love Hotel" - a place where couples can go to meet and have a romantic time. As such, most guests stay for one night (or shorter). But apart from the fact that the hotel room was stocked up daily with fresh condoms (as well as hair brush, mouthwash, moisturizers, toothbrush, lotions, bath salts, bubble baths, water bottles, etc.) we at know time felt like anything less than a very professionally run, reputable place. Love this place and we will stay here again in the future. Room was amazing for three people with 3 single beds, fresh linen-and robe daily. Free breakfast with delicious pastries included. And oh, I missed the caffucino latte served as much as you want from Am till 10:00 pm. Our experience was great!

Great hotel that’s a short walk to the heart of Shinjuku and all it has to offer during the day and night! Still a quiet room though. Room was on the smaller side but you’re hardly in it anyway since you’re exploring Tokyo!

I was a bit skeptical, as I saw multiple APA hotels in my search, but that is because of how good it is. It is a very eco friendly hotel with a moto of "Simplified Luxury" which is exactly what it was. It was very walkable to all the major spots of Shinjuku we were looking for- the station, the tourist spots, etc. Also, all the amenities the hotel had to offer. The room itself, while small by design, met all our expectations. Extra toilietry items, robes, pajamas, indoor slippers, water...

La'gent Hotel was fantastic value for the price.
Our room was small, of course, but each bed had USB charging, power outlets, and a reading light right next to them. There's a single nightstand between the two beds, but the headboards have a ledge which makes it very convenient to store anything you want to keep within arms reach at night.

We booked this hotel for location that close to Shinjuku Kabukicho and bed choice of Queen bed (other places are Twin or Full) even it said Love Hotel. So, we originally expect a iffy hotel with lots noises. Turn out it was surprisingly nice and clean with no noise (sound proof) hotel. All staffs are friendly and have 1-2 staffs speaking English (so useful!) and provided us with a free bottle of champagne and 2 free bottles of water. I love this hotel. Just spent 2 and a half weeks here - my third visit to Tokyo and I've stayed at this hotel each time because it was ideal for me. Here's why:
1) the location is good and quite ideal if you're an LGBT traveler (it's not advertised as such but its a very welcoming hotel to LGBT guests) and want to be close to thw nightlife in Shinjuku Nichome (it's a 10 minute walk away).
