"Nice clean room with tea & coffee & a kettle which is important to us. Lovely shower (towels suppled) TV with Netflix was a bonus. Small courtyard with tables for us smokers. 2 mins from beach, 5 from the pier. Perfectly positioned for those wanting a cosy weekend getaway. We were happy with the price too. "

"I think I may have stayed in a different hotel to the one advertised on Hotels.com and other websites. Certainly my single room looked nothing like the photographs, it was very small, in need of upgrading (the sockets were coming off the wall), with a thinly mattressed bed squeezed at one end, with a noisy fridge (with a glass door and light on permanently. The wifi didn't work, the bedside lamp didn't work, the light on the wall in the bathroom didn't work, and the shower was similar to something you'd find in a campsite in terms of pressure. It was noisy both from the outside and from the inside, I could hear every time any of the other guests moved around in the room opposite or above. There were no staff on site, and I wasn't going to leave my luggage behind the empty reception desk in the morning. I can find no positives about my stay - I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and would never stay here again, and it was hugely overpriced for what was offered."
