"Fantastic boutique hotel that is about a 3-min walk from Grand Central. Midtown hotels I've stayed in recently have all felt really overpriced and dingy - this was a notable EXCEPTION to that rule. The room was clean, modern, and spacious (the bathroom was a bit small, but that worked fine for me). The staff was friendly, and if you are looking to stay in Midtown, the location is unbeatable. "Pod39 is perfectly located for business trips as it is right across the street from my office. The young staff are energetic and helpful and in the case of this trip - went out of their way to get me a room for early check in. Rooms are as the describe - pods- spartan, small and well designed for the minimum needs of sleep and shower. I always have a great stay here and this was no exception. Viva la Pod39! "
