“Enjoyed our room and the tea. Didn’t have any problems sharing a bathroom and showers. The owners are awesome!”

“A beautiful full-service experience that exceeded our expectations. The included dinners and breakfasts not only tasted good, but also taught us about Japanese culture and customs. Thank you to all staff for providing the experience.”

“While this is an older hotel, it is clean, things are in working order, and rather charming and unique. For example, I had a large room with a small patio that offered a beautiful view of the city. It’s in a quaint quiet town with gorgeous views of the mountains surrounding the town. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of hot green tea. The thermos amazingly kept the water hot even till the next morning. Because I went during « low » season in May, I was able to enjoy the onsen to myself ! The...

“Our stay here was amazing. The onsens were relaxing and beautiful, but the staff is what made our stay one of our favorite places while in Japan. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home.”

“Meget gammelt og ikke vedligeholdt. Onsen-faciliteterne var ved at falde fra hinanden. Værelse ok rent.”

“I enjoyed the dinner meal even though I made a rookie hot pot mistake.”

“Such a cool place! We loved it here. It’s a bit of a ride to/from the city center, but worth it, especially if you’re looking for some quality “down time”. Do beware of bugs outside! Tons of orb weavers around (which are not aggressive), and other cool ones like grasshoppers, praying mantis, etc. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging taxis for us, because the GO app will not function as expected that far from town.”
