“False advertising at its finest. The Arcadie Guesthouse is nothing like the pictures on Expedia. It felt more like a low-security prison than a cozy "guesthouse." Unfortunately, when we brought up our concerns with the front desk, Arcadia was defensive in how their pictures online misrepresented reality. They were also unwilling to provide us even a partial-refund for checking out after the first night. We also learned that Arcadia has a hotel AND guesthouse in a very confusing building...

“I really enjoyed my stay here with reasonable price. Although the check-in location was different from the actual accommodation place, I actually found this more convenient—it allowed me to use two different entrances that suited my travel plans. If you're visiting Florence in the summer, the air conditioning here works excellently—even feels cool and refreshing. The room was also more spacious than general standard hotel rooms, which made the stay certain degree comfortable.”

“As a solo traveler, this was perfect and so cozy. In the middle of everything and I could easily come back to rest as many times as I needed without it feeling like a hassle. The staff was really helpful too!”
