Sniffen Court Historic District Tours

This is our 2nd stay at the Library. We love it. The staff (front desk ) to the bell stand attendant are so friendly and helpful. We check in and immediately go up to rooftop bar. Great cocktails and food. Love the space up there. We got an upgrade with a small charge. Worth it. The rooms are a good size for a NY hotel. Sometimes boutique hotel rooms are so small. It is so convenient from Grand Central and a great 1/2 location for uptown downtown spots. 1 suggestion is they need to work on the Madison and Vine breakfast service. Food is delicious but service is slow and not sure if its a Sunday morning not enough staff thing, but this is the 2nd time we did breakfast there and there was tops 7 people in the restaurant including us and it took a long time. Only criticism. But honestly, will not stop us from going a third time because the food was really good. Will be back soon.

I stayed at Hotel Riu Time Square when I was in New York for the Jayz concert. First of all, the location is literally steps away from the actual big screens and light and main area of Times Square.. it’s the best location you could ask for a hotel in Times Square. Directly across the street about 5 steps from the hotel is a Dunkin’ Donuts, then a few steps away from that is one of the theaters where they were performing the Lost Boys. I took the redeye from Vegas to jfk so I arrived super early in the morning at 7am and when I got to the hotel, they actually let me in my room so I could go to sleep at no extra charge! The lobby is pretty and trendy.. there were a lot of ppl lined up to go up an elevator that took them to the breakfast buffet, I didn’t eat it but it seemed pretty popular. The rooms are small but very modern and comfortable. Super clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. Everything looked new. The bellhop was soooo helpful,. He went above and beyond showing me how to catch the subway to and back from yankee stadium. He was a young Hispanic male with light eyes. I think Jose maybe? The station was about a block away from the hotel. I really appreciated everything about my stay and will stay here again when I’m in New York!
