"Room excellent, had opening window for some fresh air, a good-sized single room. The bathroom was fine and an espresso machine was included in the price. The only downside was that the room opposite this one 724, either 726 or 723, had a door closer that was set too tight and made the door slam very often including waking me in the night.
Breakfast was also superb with an excellent choice and service. It was good to go down the surviving art deco staircase to this. It would be great to see more of this restored on the ground floor round the entrance area with future upgrades of the hotel.
Thank you."
"I stayed in a single room with private bathroom. The room was small but with enough space around. Looks like the room had been recently redecorated and the bathroom looked new too. I stayed for a night for business and it was much better than I expected. "
"Superb stay, hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were all friendly and polite. Highlights included the guy who checked us in who was obviously doing his hardest to make us feel really welcome and looked after, breakfasts, plentiful and delicious, and the hotel bar, nice atmosphere day and night."
