"The location of this hotel is great - we walked from King's Cross. it is reasonably priced. Bed was comfortable and shower is a step in (good for older people like us). We needed more electrical outlets than we got (we both use CPAP machines) but with an extension cord we made it work. Staff are very friendly and professional. Many restaurants within a short walk. Lobby has a nice atmosphere."

"Rooms are a bit small and out of date. Small Windows, tiny shower, but staff were friendly and helpful and the location is very central. "

"We were on room 825 and prior to getting to London were given options to check in early with Club Quarter. This was ideal as when we got to London we were allocated our room with an electronic key downloaded on the phone therefore we didn’t actually need to queue for reception etc. . The room itself was spacious with a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle etc. The bathroom has a large shower with all the necessary toiletries you needed for a short stay. Although we didn’t need to interact with staff for any reason all staff we did engage with were very polite and friendly so no issues there! . We only used the room therefore cannot comment on other facilities but it all looked amazing . The Grand Hotel is the perfect location for so much to do and see plus Charing Cross station is a stones throw away"

"Great location, friendly staff with nice bar but the room is compact and you have to climb into bed and on bed to close curtains and very noisy. I stayed on a Wednesday and you could hear so much from the street on first floor that I hardly slept which is a real shame as I was hoping it would be a regular spot for a work stay. "
