"We had a really nice stay at Live Aqua overall. The room was comfortable and well kept, and the staff throughout the resort were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone we interacted with made us feel taken care of.
The restaurants and food were honestly some of the best I’ve had at an all-inclusive. There was a lot of quality and variety, and the dining experience was one of the strongest parts of the trip. The drinks were decent, but they lacked a little excitement compared to the food program. I would have loved to see more creative cocktails or better presentation.
One thing we were disappointed by was how early the outdoor areas seemed to shut down. The pools close at 8 p.m., and by around 9 p.m. the outside of the resort felt pretty quiet. We weren’t looking for a party resort, but being able to swim or enjoy the pool area later at night would have made a big difference. It would also help if the pool closing time was made more clear ahead of time.
The beach was decent, especially considering it was sargassum season. The water in this area is a little rougher with more undertow, so it may not be ideal for everyone, but the beach itself was still enjoyable. One smaller thing that stood out was the plastic pool stemware, which felt old and worn and could use an upgrade.
Overall, Live Aqua is a beautiful resort with great service, excellent food, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend it, especially for people who care about the dining experience."
