"I loved the events held at other Rui hotels. The commute is not long and everyone is well entertained while so. The pool options and water events held were fun and spectacular. Personally, I loved the beach volleyball net they had up. One of the reasons I chose this place, and brought my ball with me. Made loads of friends doing so. For me, what I didn’t enjoy too much was the buffet options. Breakfast was my least favorite, but there’s always one good thing I liked. Finally what I think would be great was if they played a bit more Reggaeton. Since the name is Riu Latino, some of that was missing."

"My stay at the resort had both pros and cons. One major advantage is that all pools are open 24 hours. Even without a swim-up suite, you can enjoy the pools late at night. The lobby bar is open until 6:00 a.m., making it a great place to have drinks and meet new people. Guests can use all amenities immediately after check-in, and the concierge staff was friendly and helpful with dinner reservations. The Friday Mexican Fiesta, beginning at 6:00 p.m., was one of the best Mexican shows I have seen. Room service is also available 24 hours, which is convenient if you prefer to stay in your room. Unfortunately, there was no entertainment after 11:00 p.m. At that point, your only choices were to return to your room or leave the resort. The seaweed was also a major disappointment. The smell was overwhelming as soon as I stepped outside my room, and the beach was not cleaned enough for guests to enjoy it. I was unable to visit the beach during my entire week-long stay. I would rate the food 7/10. After 6:00 p.m., you must reserve a restaurant because there is no dinner buffet. Without a reservation, room service is your only option. Overall, the staff was friendly, but the seaweed, limited dinner options, and lack of late-night entertainment affected my experience. If you are looking to relax by the pools for a few days, this is the place"

"It was a good time. Beach could’ve been better. A lot of bushes blocking ocean view. Pool was skinny and shallow which made it quite warm in August. Overall a good time."
