Hotel Canaletto

"Overall, we had a good stay. The reception and breakfast staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. However, a few things could be improved. The toilet was extremely close to the wall, making it uncomfortable to use. I was also surprised that even the water in the minibar had to be paid for, as complimentary water is common in many hotels. Even more unusual was having to pay a deposit to get the key for the safety box, which I had never experienced before. Overall, though, the excellent customer service made our stay a positive experience."

"Loved the property and how much character it has. East to find, staff very helpful. Breakfast was great! We booked a ‘canal’ view which I wouldn’t consider this a canal view it was a tiny corner of one and nothing close to what you would consider a canal view. The balcony was huge and perfect!"

"The place is a beautiful old building that is kept so incredibly well. People actually stop just as they walk in front because they want to see the beauty of the place. Our room was so well decorated that you felt that you were in another era, and all the amenities were amazingly beautiful. The stuff incredible they were so helpful and the breakfast delicious and well served. I will stay there again as they have their own pier and you can take your water bus to the taxi place or straight to the airport. They will also arrange pick up from the airport to the hotel."

"What a wonderful room to call home for a few days. We arrived early and the staff held our bags for ua to explore. When we returned to get our room, our bags were already waiting for us in the room — nice touch. The location was beautiful from the little alcove ok the canal to the courtyard eating area, and to the beautiful large room overlooking the canal. We had lots of space for us and our two teens. Air conditioning worked well and breakfast was good with good coffee:) all in all, we will stay here again on our return to Venice."

"Great hotel. We stayed in an apartment and it was spacious and convenient for family of 4 adults. The rooms were impeccable and had plenty of amenities. The staff were friendly. It is in a quieter neighborhood away from tourist locations but walkable to all of them."
