"Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at the British Colonial for just over 1 week in Nassau. The hotel itself was appealing and well-furnished with spacious rooms, the staff were friendly and helpful (they helped me find a lost device at one point), and we enjoyed the pool and on-property restaurant and bar. The location is also ideal for going on tours and boat trips to the other islands.
We did encounter some problems during our trip, but they had nothing to do with the hotel and were more about the Bahamas as a whole (e.g., very high prices, lack of transportation / ride-sharing, occasional power outages, etc.). But, again, these were all beyond the control of the hotel staff. If you're staying in Nassau and want a good, reasonably priced hotel in a central location, I would recommend the British Colonial."
