"Good: location is excellent. It’s very convenient and within easy walking distance to the Ovation shopping center, the Hollywood Theater, and many nearby attractions, which made getting around extremely easy without needing transportation. Not good: We experienced a lack of hot water multiple times during our stay—specifically around 8:00 AM in the morning and again around 9:00 PM in the evening—which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, there was a persistent loud noise throughout both the day and night. It sounded like it could be from the air conditioning or water heating system, but even when the A/C was turned off, the noise continued."

"I've been staying at the Godfrey for years, but now its getting noisier as there's more late night events occurring, which makes an early night before 11-12pm challenging."

"Attractive large room with balcony. Nice outdoor pool. Convienent location to visit Hollywood and to access line B of LA metro. There was a kettle and coffee making facilities but supplies were sparse. Needed to remind to undertake housekeeping. Bed large but not particularly comfortable and pillows were poor. On busy days pool towels not replenished. Large TV in room but it wasn't a smart TV so couldn't access streaming. Nice rooftop bar with good cocktails."

"The stay was great! Get used to climbing alot of stairs, staff was great. Room was clean, kitchen was very busy to really be able to get breakfast in the time set. If you are a late riser, be prepared to not being able to get into the kitchen after breakfast, so the staff can clean. I understand that, just wasn't expecting that. Staff was great in recommendations or pointing out the right direction to get to where you want. There's so many good things here to mention all of it!"

"Internet fast. We thought we were staying at a 4 star hotel but some staff really need better training as well as the valet parking. Half the time we parked and retrieved our own car but we are paying for the valet price. Breakfast is exactly same everyday and we noticed the fruits just rotting away near the end of our stay. In room only had two large paper cups and we are supposed to use them for brushing teeth as well as for our coffee. I asked the front desk how we are supposed to use the big cup for coffee as it is only a very small coffee machine and was told just hold and tilt the cup while filling!!?? Not what we expect for a 4 star hotel and we have travelled the world. Definitely not going to be our choice of hotel in future trips to LA. Sorry!!"
