“Solo traveling may sound like a scary thing to do. I mostly travel alone at least twice a year for self-awareness and to disconnect to the outside noise. The Yellow Nest provided just that, a total disconnect with the perks of a fantastic staff and fabulous location. Jorge in particular was like having a personal assistant, always there to help and make my stay memorable. Highly recommend The Yellow Nest!”

“Amazing property, amazing property owner. Will book again! The tree house hammock was amazing. This was not a traditional hotel, but i expected that. It was a fair distance unpaved and off road (pot holes on the road, but it is all new construction) to get to the location from the front gateway area. The property was clean, quiet, and nicely put together. It is in the forest, you do have to remember to bring "off bug spray", and you have to know that other guests can hear you if you are too...

“The property is very nice! It’s located a little off the beaten path so some roads are undeveloped, but it wouldn’t deter me from coming back in the future. Pasqual, the property manager, was welcoming and waited for us to check in at 9pm. Be prepared to hear animal noises at night but overall, it was a pleasant experience!”

However the fans above the beds were very strong and it was comfortable. The place was very jungle vibes and rustic which I loved! “I loved everything about this place! If you are looking for a legit eco lodge experience, this is the place. It’s just far enough from all the hustle and bustle of Tulum. Nestled in the mangrove jungle, surrounded by exotic fauna and wildlife. The grounds are stunning and well kept and the lodge was stocked with every amenity one could think of. We will definitely return to this hidden paradise. ”

“Los domos son muy bonitos para fotografías, pero la realidad es que están muy descuidados. La chapa de la puerta está floja y cuesta trabajo cerrarla, los mosquiteros no están bien sellados, las llaves de la regadera no funcionan bien, había focos fundidos y que parpadeaban constantemente (no relacionado a la alimentación de luz solar, porque otros focos no parpadeaban). El hecho de que no hagan limpieza todos los días hace que la cantidad de bichitos sea muchísimo mayor que en otros glampings...
