"It's a very basic accommodation, but clean and comfortable. If you want a no-frills stay in Xiamen, this place is highly recommended. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean, mattresses and pillows comfortable. Bathroom with shower en-suite. My only criticism is that one of our rooms smelled of cold smoke, as a previous occupant must have smoked inside. "

"The room 80503 was very noisy feeling like Melbourne F1 Grand Prix, but I was told it was windy. I asked for changing my room, reception answered that other rooms weren’t available (It’s after 2:00pm) I couldn’t sleep at night, asking reception for a quiet room. He found a room 80517 which was less noisy than 80503. Unfortunately it was a smoking room. I had no choice but staying in the room. I was very frustrated. "This is one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. The lobby and restaurant area is hugged by the water with islands scattered and shrouded in fogs. Room is spacious and exquisitely decorated. Breakfast contains copious western and Chinese selections. "
