"This hotel was very well kept, clean, and recently refurbished. The staff downstairs were very friendly and helpful. They took care of my postage and delivery of postcards to canada. They provide some snacks and drinks in the room, which are refilled when the room is cleaned. The pool is beautiful and there is always staff on duty as a lifeguard. The sauna doesn't allow you in with clothes, which wasn't my jam. The beds were firm, the air con strong and it was a very pleasant stay. "

We booked the Executive Suite since we were traveling with four large suitcases, and the room was adequately spacious, clean, and comfortable. The standout, however, was the exceptional service—from the warm welcome at the front desk to the attentive staff in the restaurant, everyone was polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Our room included daily complimentary breakfast, offering a great selection of both Western and local dishes. The food was fresh, delicious, and well-presented—though it can get crowded at peak times. Overall, Westgate Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Taipei. Highly recommended for both location and hospitality."
