โThis isnt a manned hotel.. Its comfortable clean rooms in an unoccupied house.
That being said its secure warm and a great stay. Slept really well. The bathroom and shower where great. 10 min walk into town great quiet location.
I had to contact owners as door code wasn't received. Call was answered quickly and help was brilliantโ

Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid.
There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all.

โWe loved our stay at the Churchill. Itโs in a great location, about a 10 minute walk from York centre. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The food in the bar was great-big portions too. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Overall this hotel is wonderful and we would definitely stay here again! โ
