"Here goes...This hotel was under a different name (Charter Hotels..Leisure Inn). It was an ok room. They are renovating, so rooms and halls smell of paint. I was on the fisrt floor, no issues. Many things.in the room were dirty, falling apart. It was fine since it was cheap. There was no heat or easily controlled thermostat and it was cold. There is no frills. Its a very tall room, maybe 20 ft high. The bed was confortable but dirty and cheap sheets, pillow was for looks only. Luckiky it had a good comforter weoght wise to help with the cold. The bathroom, shower set up os strange. Shower head location makes 0 sense and gets the floor wet as the strips in the glass falling off. This room was fine to sleep only and leave and was cheaper than others. It is only 3 or 4 streeets from Bayswater.Tube station.and lots of food options. Use Uber Eats, if need food. Markets dont open til 7am etc. The room.does not have a mini fridge or anything. Had a nice wardrobe but 2 hangers.... I am not trying to bash this place but it needs lots of improvement and work. If im only on price, id stay again."

"The room we stayed in had clearly just been renovated, and that was appreciated. Our beds were comfortable and we were allowed to check in a few hours early for a small fee. Our room was small but about average for that area (and price point) in London. Only complaint--I'm not sure if the walls in the hotel are paper thin, or many other guests were inconsiderate, or the hotel needs to update the hinges on all doors but we constantly heard doors slamming at all hours. It was a little hard to fall asleep because of that. Aside from that minor complaint, our one night stay here was fine. Would recommend to fellow travelers."

"This hotel was a great base for our London exploration. It's close to a number of good restaurants as well as tube stations. It's clean. The room was spacious. Really no complaints to speak of. "

"Hotel was under renovation and I was not informed when I booked my stay. Could not take shower because there was no hot water. Next day in the morning we received a letter informing us there no hot water and we should contact our agency to make other arrangements. Fortunately I was able to book my other 2 nights in another hotel. They charged for the first night when they shouldn’t considering we were unable to take showers since was no hot water. I’ll dispute the charge. "

"Unhelpful manager, very dismissive of issues with our room. No TV reception for whole week, broken kettle, broken toilet seat. Was not offered to move rooms. Not happy"
