"The hotel is in a great location, which is definitely its main advantage. However, the hotel itself feels very old-fashioned and in need of a proper update. It is a large hotel with many rooms, but the facilities do not seem sufficient for the number of guests, especially when it comes to food options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The lifts were also very busy and in high demand.
Unfortunately, our check-in experience was disappointing. Our room was not ready when we arrived, and we had to wait almost four hours with nowhere comfortable to sit or wait. Nothing was offered to us during this time, and I had to ask for compensation for the delay.
The room itself was okay, but there was visible wear and tear throughout, including the furniture, shower, doors, and general fittings. Overall, while the location is excellent, the hotel really needs refurbishment and better guest facilities to match the number of tourists it receives."
