โFree parking, lovely place, however the room advertised that I booked was not the room we were given, but still a very nice room non the less. 10 minute walk away not the centre for food and drinks, great seating facilities inside and outside of the property with a great view. โMy wife and i stayed here for our Wedding Anniversary, Monday to today. Excellent staff in particular Reception, Noel & Cheys in Brasserie. Btw the back area needs a few cobwebs cleaning around glass panels, a little off-putting but no big deal. Food excellent, views suberb. Boat trips, Aquarium and steam train on the doorstep. โVery slick check-in with staff who clearly know their job, are all over the systems and clearly want you to have the best stay possible. Robes and slippers are available to use if visiting the pool or spa. Spacious, quiet room with tea/coffee making facilities and quality toiletries. Choice of pillows and large comfortable bed.

โWe got to this property by chance. What a fun surprise. It is an old but very well kept inn. It has many beautiful hikes around. It is in the middle of nowhere. And that makes it even more fantastic. โ
โBest spa i have ever been to. Been to alot of spa's up the north of england but this one blows them all away, low wood offers a budget and more exclusive packages that suit your needs. All areas were clean to a high standard and the on site resturant and bar are a bonus. Breakfast was more than what most places offer. โ
โIf I could I would give this place more stars than what is allowed. One of my favorite places that we stayed at while in the UK. I can not say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. How welcoming and wonderful the staff is. Canโt thank them enough for the warm hospitality. โ
โ, and have to say this hotel did not disappoint. Staff very friendly and welcoming from check in to breakfast in the morning and check out. They had a fan in the bedroom which came in very handy as it was an extremely warm day/night. Room was very clean and had a lovely touch with complimentary bottles of water and biscuits. Breakfast was everything you would look for in morning. Thank you for a lovely stay again. Will definitely be back next year!!
