If one is not there for a fancy hotel room, but for sightseeing, this is a great, clean, bare bones room. It is close to the train station. We were on the 5th floor and had a great view! Breakfast was also on the 5th floor. Close proximity to all the museums and Duomo, 20 minute walk or less to everything. We walked everywhere!

This is a great hub if you don’t mind walking 15 mins in either direction. Florence is walking city, about 10000 steps and all day walk total 16,000 steps. it’s 42 mins walk, if you need to take the train out to Rome or Milan. Keep that in mind.

I understand it’s an old hotel that is centrally located. That being said, it is too overpriced for the condition of the room. I wouldn’t recommend to others as Florence is such a small city that everywhere you book/ you’re in the “center.” Not worth the value is all for me.
