“Horrible experience at Atlantis Royal, resort is highly overpriced and overrated as you mostly know. Check-in was delayed by 2 hours and they gave us only $75 resort credit for the “inconvenience”. Front desk was super rude and lack of empathy, we called them multiple times for not having enough towels and toiletries and they either ignored our requests (hint, housekeeping department is a disaster) or their response was always late making us loose valuable vacation time unnecessarily. “The hotel and all the different choices of food were great. The only thing that I didn’t like is some of the staff wasn’t very very friendly, especially if they didn’t speak English. They were either just rude or walked away and never answered your question what I didn’t like, but got used to was the room to smell very very damp when you walk in, but after the first day, I was OK with the smell.”

“Baha Mar has become too commercialized. Used to love it, but it has become very crowded, over priced and the food was average at many of the restaurants. Disappointed to see one of my favorite places get over commercialized.”

We we would be there 10 minutes and others would walk up and get served immediately (iykyk). The taxi service was expensive. It was $20 per person to go across the street. Best food was the food by the pool at lunch”
