The staff are an absolute highlight: always friendly, polite and professional, from the desk staff to the restaurant staff to the cleaners. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are generously sized and equipped with everything you might need for a standard stay, plus a few nice extras. I particularly appreciate the wonderful smelling toiletries...

“Was too noisy and not that clean and should be. Other rooms had sleepers but in our room was not available. Seems like they gave as the worst room, that should be for the staff not for the guests…”

“Hotel is looking fabulous, what a makeover it’s had. Can still smell the fresh paint upon entering. Had a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the abbey and the water, what a lovely sight to wake up to. Our meal at the fat badger was also excellent. Can’t fault it at all, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ”
