“The size of the room is great, clean and quiet.”

“I chose a budget room which was £144 per night. I stayed two nights over the Bank Holiday heatwave . There was a brick wall outside my window and only two of the windows would open a maximum of 3 inches. The bathroom window did not open and the fan was not working. It was wretched in the heat. You have to have the light on to see even in daylight. I was given a very basic fan . I asked to change my room the next day. It was inhumane to expect anyone to be in a room with no ventilation in that...

“Hot plate at breakfast. Toast on a toast rack. No grouping around a toasting machine!”

“It's a fair walk for us OAPs to the town centre. Very limited parking due to the Shanty Festival. We were lucky to get the last space underground. It would have been a disaster for us if we couldn't have parked locally. Apparently one can reserve a space for a fee - wasn't told this when I booked. Limited menu in restaurant. Limited breakfast choice. - no cold meat and cheese for the europeans. Amazing views across the harbour.”

“Was too noisy and not that clean and should be. Other rooms had sleepers but in our room was not available. Seems like they gave as the worst room, that should be for the staff not for the guests…”

“We had a lovely stay. The bedroom was a little smaller than we expected; however, it was advertised as a small double room, so we knew what to expect. Despite its size, the room was very comfortable, beautifully fitted, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was almost bigger than the bedroom and was very modern with excellent new fittings heated towel rail ect which was a plus. Breakfast was delicious lots of choices full English & continental, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely...
