"Great place! Super friendly, kind staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location high on the mountain. In room onsen was nice for a quick private soak. The forest and rooftop public onsen were lovely and uncrowded. Breakfast buffet was delicious."
"Staff was excellent, food was amazing. The shuttle was very convenient. My room was very clean, traditional and quiet. I went in January and my room was warm and cozy. "
"The villa is great. We loved everything about the unit. It was spacious and clean, had lots of amenities, and the private onsen was great. The layout for us (6 people) was awesome. The unit had multiple toilets and places to get ready. The fully equipped kitchen was very much welcomed. While we did not cook, and only heated up store-bought food and cup noodles, there are pots and pans and even an outdoor grill if you want to cook. There is even a vending machine that has limited food options to cook. There are drawbacks, and mainly it is the location. It is not easy to get there with public transportation, there are no convenient store within walking distance and restaurant options are limited. Also this check in was harder than it needed to be. The app/link they sent ahead of time for check in was slow and kept having error, so I ended checking in on the tablet in the room, but that was a bad expereince as well. It took over 45 min for me to self check in, scan passports, type in information etc... But overall, we really enjoyed the time we spent at the Villa and onsen. Great place to relax and decompress and have a rest/slow day.
