Excellence Riviera Cancun - Adults Only All Inclusive

"The resort is beautiful! We have stayed at All Inclusive resorts many times, but none have come close the the Excellence Riviera. The grounds are extremely clean and neat, the room was comfortable, clean, well stocked and had a good view of the grounds. The staff... every staff member we encountered was polite and friendly, greeting guests as they walked past. Even the grounds keepers were friendly! There was not any need or request that was not met. There are Coatis, iguanas and capibara on the property that were fun to watch. The water all along the coast is choked with seaweed in July and August, so if you want ocean time right off the resorts, now is not the time to go. The resort is really good about keeping the seaweed removed from the beach so you can still enjoy sitting on the beach, you simply have to deal with the smell. You can take boats out to open water and get away from the smell of the seaweed which is nice. The smell of the seaweed does travel through the resort, but it is not that bad. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from, and the food at each of them is amazing! If you enjoy a great steak, The Grill has many options, and Chez Isabell has the most amazing filet mignon! The resort is adults only, but does not lack for activities or entertainment. They have different singers and acts through the week that are professional worthy. Every interaction with the staff makes you want to go back and be treated like you are family and you are home"

"I had a wonderful five-night solo stay at Atelier Playa Mujeres. The resort feels luxurious, and I loved the darker, sexy, jungle-meets-beach aesthetic of the rooms. My room was comfortable and well kept, the beach was beautiful, and nearly 24-hour in-room dining made it feel truly all-inclusive. The staff were the highlight. The Experience Team works hard to keep guests entertained, and special thanks to Jonathan and Ethan, especially Ethan, who continued checking in on me and made me feel so welcome as a solo traveler. Demarys and Alonso at the beach were incredibly sweet and even encouraged me to practice my Spanish. Daniel and Miguel by the pool took great care of me, and Miguel and Fernando at the lobby bar were wonderful. They put real care into their drinks and made me feel very comfortable traveling alone. My main critique is consistency with restaurant service. Some dining experiences were exceptional, while others fell short. One server at the Italian restaurant made me feel unwelcome, while my first steakhouse visit was fantastic. Unfortunately, when I returned on my final night, I waited nearly 30 minutes despite an 8 PM reservation, received the wrong appetizers, had another forgotten, and experienced very slow service. Overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives. A beautiful resort with wonderful people; I’d just love to see more consistency in dining service."
