"The kitchen was extremely filthy with roaches. This was definitely not the place to try and get any kind of sleep as they would play weird techno music (not the cool kind of techno) starting very early in the morning, during the week and on weekends. Some of the employees were rude, and they would not talk to you when you would greet them in the morning or at night. "Staff was very attentive, friendly and provided quick service. Hostel had amenities such as outdoor courtyard, ping pong table, mini computer lab and outdoor seats with free breakfast cooked by one of the staff members. Convenient location as it is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. Only downside was showers didn’t dispense water well and need a little maintenance and renovation. Overall a good experience. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Mayan monkey! Fun themed evenings, really large private room, and close to the marina. It is on the other end of the marina so I would maybe not have loved walking home alone at night but with someone else it was not a problem. Would return! "

"The are of Roma Norte is lovely and the hotel is well located and has a charming decor, but it want very clean, there was no hot water and the rooms are on the first floor and face the street so it is incredibly noisy. Overall it was functional and safe but the noise and lack of amenities was a big deawback"

"An hotel that looks nothing like the photos. The hotel is not at 7minutes distance from the airport, with trafic 40 min, fluid 25 we did both. There is no check in or check out counter, there was only a security gardian who gave us the key at the entrance. The bed was not a mattress at all and it was dirty like they just made the bed and didn't change to wash them. A sofa with white powder, and I don’t thing it was baking soda to clean it up. The floor was stained with old blood. The curtains...

"La habitación es lo que necesitas para dormir, hay clima, la cama es cómoda, el baño es compartido pero permaneció limpio. Hay que pedir tu acceso en el número de WhatsApp, ya que no hay recepción. Todo muy bien!!!"

"Unfortunately we could not find the place! We circled the block multiple times, got out an walked from building to building. I found a call box on the building at the address provided but it either didn’t work or no one was there to answer it. No signs at all on the building or anywhere near it. We ended up giving up hope and finding a last minute hotel. "
