"The room and property are absolutely beautiful and the location is great. The staff are friendly and polite but there's not much in the way of service. I would definitely come back though when I return to Edinburgh "

"Room was very good - clean and spacious and it was good to have a bath in the ensuite and not just a shower. All the staff were helpful, courteous and friendly. A nice touch was the provision of mulled wine and mince pies each evening"
"A very welcoming place with great staff, outstanding rooms, great value for money every thing was well thought off we couldn’t of asked for more, great location highly recommend staying here "
"Staff were fantastic and very friendly, especially the waiter in the bar.
Hotel is lovely and a nice touch having mulled wine and mince pies out for guests.
Room was big and clean. Bed was very comfortable as were pillows and duvets.
Nice touch having the leisure facilities although pool could have been slightly hotter.
Perfect location for princes street, Christmas markets, George street and st James quarter. Fantastic stay and can’t wait to return. "
"I was a solo traveler visiting Edinburgh for the first time- I had originally booked a hotel on Victoria street but switched to the Horton for a more price convienent option. I’m very happy I did- I was only about a 10 minute walk from Victoria street and it was nice to not wake up right in the middle of all the tourists.
I called the hotel ahead of time and explained I was a solo traveler so requested not to put me on a ground floor. They were very accommodating putting me on a second floor in a very quiet location. the staff were friendly, and accomodating, the food was great, the hotel was clean and well kept. I just booked my second stay at the Hoxton Edinburgh and I can’t wait to return :)"
