엘레베이터 없는거 알고 간 곳이었지만 아기도 있는 상태에 4층으로 객실이 나와서 조금 힘들었음 짐은 다 옮겨주고 해서 편했고, 한번 숙소 들어가면 잘 안나오게 됐음 객실은 전반적으로 어두운 조명이라 살짝 불편했고 맨하탄 근처 숙소에 비해 가격이 저렴한 편이라 잠만 자기에는 나름 나쁘지않은거같음 다만 객실간 방음이 안되서 소리가 조금씩 들려서 불편 침대 스프링 소리가 들려서 조금 불편 바깥 소음은 어느정도 감수해야되는거같음 잠들면 잘 들리지않고 앰블랜스 지나가면 좀 시끄럽게 들림 호텔위치는 바로 지하철역이 있어서 편하고 1층엔 스타벅스 건너편에 마트 맥도날드 서브웨이 등이 있음 다만 서브웨이는 9시오픈인데 계속 문을 늦게여는듯 한번도 못가봄 방2개 잡았는데 하나는 화장실이 좁고 하나는 넓음 좁은 화장실 배정받으면 씻고 준비하기에는 조금 어려움이 있을거같음 수압은 안좋긴한데 씻는데는 큰 어려움은 없음 다만 냉온수 조절이 조금 힘들었음 차갑거나 뜨겁거나 ㅋㅋ 객실 조명은 좀 밝아졌음 좋겠음 잠만 자고 생활하기에는 맨하탄지역 호텔 비용 감안하면 괜찮을거같다 운동할겸 열심히 계단 오르내리면 되니까......ㅋㅋㅋ

위치는 마음에 드나 룸 상태는 금액에 비해서는 별로에요
지하철이 호텔 바로 앞에 있어서 다니기에는 크게 불편함이 없었어요.하지만 전반적으로 호텔이 노후되어 나무 삐그덕거리는 소리는 심하게 났고 밑에 층에 있을 땐 화장실 물 내려가는 소리가 심각하게 크게 들렸어요 그리고 전반적으로 샤워기에 수압이 정말 약해서 불편했어요 침대는 나름 폭신폭신하여 잠은 잘 잤어요 에어컨에 더워서 틀기는 했지만 머지가 소복한게 청소를 한번도 안한 것 같고 바닥 카펫은 정말 청소를 한번도 안한듯 곰팡이와 오물이 묻어있어 필히 슬리퍼 등 챙겨가세요 호텔에서 구비된 건 없어요 그리고 와이파이 정말 느려요!

뉴욕에서 이정도 가격이면 가성비는 괜춘
위치는 지하철역 바로앞이어서 좋았. 초큼 무셔웠어여 근데 문앞에서 손님 맞이해주고 그래서 다행. 방은 조금 어둡긴한데 넓어서 또이또이. 청결도는 더럽지도 깨끗하지도... 근데 나무 바닥이라 복도랑 계단에서 누가 걸으면 소리가 다들려요.....삐끄덕삐그덕. 호텔 조식은 따로 없고 근처에 브로드웨이베이글이라는 곳에서 할인 받을 수 있는 쿠폰을 주는데 한번만 먹었어요. 맛은 소소였어요. 일하는 스텝들이 다들 기분좋게 반겨주고 웃고 있어서 좋았음.

위치상으로 지하철이 바로 앞에 있어 뉴욕 여행객에게 편리합니다. 호텔내 엘레베이터가 없어서 계단을 오르고 내려야 합니다. 짐은 프론트에 이야기 하면 옮겨 주기 때문에 연세 많은 분들 아니면 괜찮습니다. 호텔보다는 좀 캐주얼하고 호스텔보다는 서비스면에서 편리한 정도로 생각하고 지낸다면 맨하튼 물가대비 머물기 적당합니다

최악의 호텔
위치는 나쁘지 않았습니다. 지하철 역 바로 앞에 있어서 이동하기 좋아요. 객실은 별로였습니다. 방음이 잘 안되더군요. 근처 다른 객실의 말소리와 물소리가 다 들리고 복도와 윗층에 사람들 지나다니면 그 발소리도 들립니다. 바닥을 밟는 게 아주 잘 느껴진다고나 할까요. 정말 싫었던 건 10시 즈음부터 누군가가 문 앞에서 계속 말을 하는데 그 고음이 아주 잘 들리던 것이었습니다. 어떤 날은 객실 앞에서 무언가를 아주 무식하게 때려 부수는 듯한 쿵쿵 소리가 너무 크게 들려서 정말 최악이었습니다. 아마 이 곳은 Do not disturb 같은 걸 걸어서 하우스키퍼가 들어오지 않는다 하더라도 늦잠을 잘 수 없는 환경일 겁니다.

Resepsjonsområdet er ganske hyggelig, men før man kommer dit, er det en lang brått trapp. Ikke gøy med store kofferter selv om de har hyggelige folk som hjelper. Rommene er veldig små og slitte. Ingen heis for å komme videre fra resepsjonen heller. De ansatte var hyggelige. Hotellet ligger rett ved en metrostasjon og er lett å finne. Nabolaget er ok, og det er bare et par gater for å komme til Central Park.

This place was NYC with grit. Small room, needed updating - they did as little as possible to make it livable. Will not stay here again.

It's a typical old, very old New York building, I expected what I got, a small room and a small bathroom. No illusion of grandeur, so if you go with that in mind, you will not be disappointed. Staff were/are great and the hotel is quite well situated.

Good location, good value
The Marrakech is well located, next to a subway station on a busy line which takes you downtown quickly. There is plenty to do on foot in the neighbourhood too - Central Park is about 10 minutes walk in one direction and the Hudson/Riverside Drive 10 minutes in the other. There are also numerous cafes, restaurants and stores right on your doorstep. The building is old and the rooms rather small, but it's clean enough and the bed was comfortable. Staff are helpful and nice, and there is a spacious comfortable lobby area with Moroccan furnishings where you can hang out. Wi fi is not the strongest and it times out if you don't stay online. There are a lot of stairs (including up to the lobby from the street) and no lift as it's an old building, but there is plenty of help available to carry bags up. Overall, it was very good value in what is an expensive city.

Trip type N/A No ‘trips’. I am a life-long UES Manhattan it’s - just doing some home renovations and playing around my City at economy class hotels. Hotels.com has hit its 2nd consecutive home run for me: A 5-Star for its Econ class! I know this city well. That’ is no longer easy to do here. Thank you!

I like the decoration, but There were not elevator and we had to go up and down 5 floors every time and on every step you hear a noise. The bathroom was not clean.

Quirky hotel. The staff is very friendly. I booked a last-minute hotel to attend Columbia's graduation, for which it was very convenient. Tending towards run down but comfortable, Hotel on 2nd floor and above, help available for stairs, no elevator. IF YOU BOOK from o n2nd floor, you can avoid those othr stairs. I had one of those facing the back (wall) which was quiet, and looked exactly like the photo.

The property cancelled our reservation when he had specifically called and told them to keep it for us even though we would not be showing up until the second night because of a cancelled flight.

We paid for a "Superior Room" when booking. The room we got was a postage stamp sized sardine can with a LOUD window air conditioner, blowing on the bed from the scenic view of a brick wall behind it. Two people could not pass one another anywhere in this room. The picture of the superior room showed a chair. There was no room for a chair. Staff replied, "Sorry, we're full." No opportunity to change room.

Okay for overnight work trip
Totally fine for an overnight business trip if you don’t need fancy amenities and can sleep with some noise. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Poor condition
The lack of other route upstairs other than dingy, dark, steep staircase was rather alarming. Room could definitely have been been cleaner. I wound up checking out early and staying elsewhere.

The room was WAY smaller than it looked on the site. The staff were barely paying any attention to the people waiting to get checked in. Barely anything in the rooms , when you try to put the hot water on in the shower you can hear the thumps due to the water pressure ..... I honestly wouldn’t pay that price for any of their rooms . Loud, small, too many stairs and no elevators , confusing to find the rooms & just absolutely a no go for me ; I wouldn’t stay here again .

Booking was horrible
When booking with this hotel had an issue because stated pay when checked in but funds were automatically taken out. Asked to refund but keep my reservation and I will pay when I checked in. the hotel stated I booked a non refundable so they were not able and even if I cancelled the reservation I wouldn’t get any money back either. So the booking part was false but had no other choice to stay afterwards. Upon arrival is a set of steep stairs to the front desk. Not recommending this hotel for the elderly. It was too much for my parents with all the stairs. Rooms were clean and service was nice. You’re paying for what you get.

Most dark and steep staircase. Access to upper floors only via these narrow stairs. Staff behaved threateningly: had to request assistance from NYC Police and EMS. Lastly, they have failed to publish this review: they censor and 'approve' reviews. I have been a world traveler for business for 40 years, and not even of the remotest areas in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, anywhere really, have I been THROWN IN THE STREET. I am a New Yorker, and my condo is being rennovated: there is nothing New Yorkish about Marrakech Hotel. I had a lovely stay at Cachet Boutique Hotel.

Et lite mirakel.
Et veldig trygt og rimelig hotell med meget god valuta for pengene. Beliggenheten er sentral like ved t-bane stasjon. Hotellet har unik atmosfære og hyggelige rom. WIFI fungerer utmerket og renholdet er veldig bra. Effektiv men vennlig service i resepsjonen. Hyggelig oppholdsrom med TV ved siden av resepsjonen. Hotellet har ikke heis, men det er noe av sjarmen. I forhold til pris og beliggenhet, det beste stedet jeg har bodd i New York.

No frills but clean hotel and fantasic price
The Marrakech is a no frills hotel - no elevator - lots of stairs. Simple but clean hotel. Lovely staff . I will be back.

Positiv: Die Lage ist hervorragend (U-Bahnstation, viele Shops...). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Negativ: Das Zimmer war sehr klein, jedoch zum schlafen völlig ausreichend. Zimmer im 5. Stockwerk ohne Aufzug.
